Coimbatore Vizha is a “Celebration for the People of Coimbatore, by the People of Coimbatore”. It is an initiative facilitated by many organizations and Coimbatoreans to celebrate the spirit of our city. It symbolizes a colourful and rich celebration of the culture, heritage and social spirit of the people of Coimbatore. 

Coimbatore Vizha has been able to continue its journey over the years due to the various organisations, people and local administration that have come together every year to organise many events in their spheres. Every year has been a new experience in celebrating our wonderful city.

Every citizen of Coimbatore can find a way to celebrate our city in their houses or it could be a neighbourhood event or marque events that organisations have come forward that bring together thousands of people. Every little drop has added a flavour to this unique celebration.

A Double Decker bus ride, a food festival titled Taste of Coimbatore, a Laser show at the lake, an Art Street for artists, a Helicopter flower shower for the Covid warriors in our city, a Pitch fest for start ups, Music shows, Cultural events, Heritage walks, multi cultural Vizha Parade, Mamalai Potrutham that thanked mother nature for the bountiful rains and many more, Vizha has celebrated every aspect of our city.

The Coimbatore Vizha Marathon and Cyclothon that have been included from the 12th edition. With colourful T-Shirts and jerseys every year, the event has become one every Coimbatorean looks forward to.
